Elizabeth Mang is the founding partner of Mang & Co Solicitors and one of the most experienced housing law practitioners in the field. Having qualified as a Solicitor in 1997, Elizabeth brings nearly three decades of dedicated legal expertise to her clients — a depth of knowledge that is reflected in the quality of representation the firm delivers on every case it undertakes.

Elizabeth’s practice encompasses the full breadth of housing law, with particular expertise in landlord and tenant disputes, unlawful eviction, housing disrepair claims, and homelessness applications. She has acted on behalf of both tenants and landlords across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters, giving her an unrivalled understanding of the legal and practical considerations on each side of a dispute. Her background in civil litigation further equips her to pursue and defend cases with precision and determination, whether through negotiation, tribunal proceedings, or the courts.

“My approach has always been the same: listen carefully, advise honestly, and act decisively. Every client who comes to us is facing a situation that matters deeply to them — and it matters deeply to us too.”
Elizabeth founded Mang & Co Solicitors in 2016 with a clear vision: to create a firm wholly dedicated to housing law, where clients receive focused, expert advice without the delays or divided attention that can come with larger, multi-disciplinary practices. Under her leadership, the firm has established a strong reputation for delivering results and for making quality legal representation accessible to all — including through the firm’s Legal Aid Agency contract, which ensures that those of limited means are never left without recourse.
